This intervention included the road access from the area of the future Tavira Fishing Port to the pier of Quatro Águas and aimed to improve the mobility conditions of the population. The project foresaw the regulation of circulation and car parking, along with an improvement of the conditions for the circulation of public transport, providing the space with adequate structures for the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers. In addition to new vegetation, new pavements and the construction of a cycle track and pedestrian walkway, the eroded banks of the Gilão River were recovered, and new street furniture and equipment, public lighting, and informative, interpretative and educational signage were installed.
